We stand as a religious–military priory in sovereign abeyance: a non-territorial dynastic Templar jurisdiction under the Head of the House of Wolfenbüttel-Brunswick. Our work is spiritual, charitable, and educational. We claim no civil jurisdiction and no tax or passport privileges, and we strictly reject the sale of honors. Our mandate is to preserve authentic Christian chivalry and to defend the principle of Right over Might in cooperation with all lawful authorities.
The Brunswick Grand Commandery is a Templar body of chivalric restoration, rooted in historical continuity and supported by valid sovereign law. It honors the living tradition of the Knights Templar and is grounded in the legitimate succession of the House of Wolfenbüttel-Brunswick.

The Commandery was reconstituted under the regency of a legitimate heir to the original Templar founding lineage. With a strong constitutional basis, it maintains continuity in rite, mission, and sovereign structure while serving as a beacon for Christian knighthood and service.
Regional chapters or aligned Templar bodies may petition to receive a Charter of Sovereign Protection from the Brunswick Grand Commandery. These charters signify alignment with canonical Templar norms, heraldry, and Christian knighthood under lawful fons honorum.
Our tradition continues under the banner of sovereign regency from Jerusalem, Anjou, and Brunswick. This authority is actively maintained and acknowledged through historic succession and international doctrine, with a living Templar jurisdiction embedded in the knightly court of the (de jure) Duke of Wolfenbüttel-Brunswick, and within the Holy Order of the Gate, Priory of Salem at Jerusalem.
